Sabrina Scott #11 - WWHS Varsity Team

Weeki Wachee High School's Sabrina Scott #11

So it's onward and upward this year, I've said goodbye to the Jayvee team
(even though I see them everyday at practice)
And taken one of the ten spots available on the Varsity team.

With that transition came a few other changes, starting with the uniform.
I had to say goodbye to my old uniform and my old number, #21.
Unfortunately, the #21 varsity uniform was too large.

Out of the remaining non-committed numbers I chose
#11  Golden State Warriors, Klay Thompson's number.
Regardless, win or lose I'll always be a Warriors fan.

#DubNation
I take "my boys" on the road with me
Curry on the right, Thompson on the left.

Where I fit on the team is also a big change. Coach Hughes kept me on the outside and while on Jayvee the girls called me "Curry" because I lead the team in three pointers. That's where they needed me, so that's where I played.

My new team is full of talent and each of the starting five are All-County ranked players. Because of that I think Coach Munro has other ideas for me. Sometimes i'm a shooting guard and other times i'm a small forward. However,  lately while he has been coaching me the focus of my lessons have been on defense.

"If they can't get to the basket, they can't score."
